Terms of Service

1. Who we are

UberPadel is operated from the United Kingdom. By using the service (web app, hosted at uberpadel-prod.pages.dev or uberpadel.com) you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16+ to register an account. Tournament organisers must be 18+ to accept payments via Stripe Connect.

3. Accounts

• You're responsible for safekeeping your credentials.
• One account per person. Multi-account abuse → ban.
• You can delete your account anytime from the profile page.

4. Tournaments + payments

• Organisers set their own entry fees. UberPadel takes a 5% platform fee on paid registrations.
• Refunds are at the organiser's discretion until the registration deadline. After that, refunds depend on the tournament's stated policy.
• Stripe handles all payments. We never see card details.
• Cancelled tournaments: organisers must refund all paid registrations within 14 days.

5. Code of conduct

Don't be a jerk. Specifically:

• No harassment, hate speech, or threats.
• No fraudulent payments or chargebacks.
• No fake match scores or fake tournament entries.
• No scraping the site for competitive purposes.

We can suspend accounts that breach these rules.

6. Intellectual property

UberPadel owns the platform code and brand. Your tournament data and match results remain yours — we hold them under licence to run the service.

7. Limitation of liability

We provide the service "as is". We're not liable for personal injuries during matches, missed tournament slots, or third-party outages (e.g. if Stripe goes down). Maximum liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get an email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
